Demonstrating in slow motion how to correctly sharpen your knife using a diamond stone and sharpening steel.
Using a knife in the kitchen is dangerous. Using blunt knives is extremely dangerous.
Each knife is different, consult the leaflet that came with your knife for the correct sharpening angle.
Please note, that when sharpening on the stone I only move the knife in one direction. When using the sharpening steel I use a cutting motion towards the guard not away from it. This is how it should be done and the results are there for you to see for yourself.
Never ever grip a steel over the safety hilt.
